I'm so sorry to hear of your uncle's passing, my deep condolences go out to you and your family. Thank you for sharing this story, it's really sad and leaves me at a loss for words... I know the feeling though. I'm hoping this is bittersweet, and you can keep the memory of your uncle alive by getting to know his daughter.

I'm blown away that you chose this song to play in your uncle's honor. It reminds me why I write music, and makes me feel connected to a much larger picture. Thank you, Ger.

I played this song for my uncle as his funeral yesterday.

A daughter of his showed up that nobody knew existed. She was 31 years old and had spent years trying to build up the courage to meet him.

I'm surprised nobody has commented on this one yet.

Every time I listen to this song I get a pang in my heart for all of the things I wish I had said to the one that got away. The one that never saw me the same way and the one that I lost.
Its hard to explain all of the fears that you have when you are in love.
However this song manages to convey that not only with its lyrics, but rhythmically. And I guess that is why i have this feeling everytime I listen to it

Tak, you're a genius. Great voice and songwriting. I know this is a strange comment, but nice levels in the mastering--all of the instruments and vocals (apart from some of the backing vocals) blend so beautifully.

I have been tempted to treat this CD as kind of a Beatles tribute. This would be a mistake. The influence is quite clear, but this is not a "clone" album. Your voice, Goh, is naturally a lot like John Lennon's, but it is pretty clear from your work that you are not going to confine
yourself in the "tribute" mode. Keep the influences: they are all good. Keep the originality. You are awesome and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Awe, I find this song particularly touching in this moment of my life. I moved to California (from Argentina) a month ago to get married and settle down here. I left behind most of my belonging and loved ones. I'm happy but I can't help missing my old life, everything I knew, my people.
